The lemon tree is one of the few fruit trees that produces all year round, which is why you often see it carrying flowers, green lemons and ripe ones at the same moment. This page brings all of that together: a branch with two whole lemons, a cut slice showing the segments inside, pointed leaves and a few small blossoms with white petals. Lemon yellow rules this drawing, but you can use two different shades, a bright one for the peel and a paler one for the slice, leaving the white pith unpainted so it stands out. Lemon leaves are a dark, glossy green, and the buds that have not opened yet can take a soft hint of pink.
