We call them all berries, but a raspberry is not one: each raspberry is made of dozens of tiny beads stuck together, and if you look closely you can count them one by one. A blueberry, on the other hand, really is a berry, and it wears a little star-shaped crown at its tip. This page shows a sprig with blueberries, raspberries, a blackberry and small oval leaves. It is the most colorful page in the whole set: deep, almost violet blue for the blueberries, strong pink or red for the raspberries, and a purple so dark it is nearly black for the blackberry.
