A newborn panda weighs about as much as a stick of butter and is born pink and hairless: it is around nine hundred times smaller than its mother, the biggest size difference between mother and baby of any mammal. Its black patches only appear at about three weeks. This panda is older and climbs a bamboo stalk gripping it with all four paws, the leaves fanning out above. Color it by leaving the body white and filling in the ears, eye patches, arms and legs in black, exactly as it looks in real life. The bamboo goes in light green and the leaves in a deeper green.
