About Tin Robot Coloring Page to Print Free
The first toy robots were made in Japan in the 1950s from tin sheet with a wind-up mechanism: turning the key on the side tightened a spring that made them walk a few steps on their own. This one has that retro look, with a square riveted body, two round dials on the chest, bellows arms and legs and an antenna on its head. Color it like the originals: bright red or blue body, silver head, grey dials and mouth grille, a gold key and a detail or two in green. The bellows arms look great in silver.
