Giant robots controlled from inside really do exist, though they are far slower than in the movies: there are prototypes over three metres tall that copy the pilot's movements through mechanical arms called exoskeletons. The hardest part for their engineers is not the strength but the balance, since a machine that heavy tips over easily. This mecha is shown full body, with riveted armour plates, exposed pistons at the knees and elbows, one hand open and the other closed into a fist. Color it with a steel-grey body, chest and shoulder plates in strong blue or red so they stand out, the pistons in bright silver-grey, and the cockpit visor in light blue, like glass.
