About Simple Flower Drawing to Color for Ages 6+

A simple-shaped flower sits on a straight stem, its rounded petals spread evenly around a small center. There isn't much extra detail: each petal is smooth, without strong waves along the edge, and at first glance they all look almost identical to one another. The stem rises without curves up to the base of the flower and carries one or two long leaves along the sides. It's the kind of flower that shows up in notebooks and posters because its shape is easy to recognize even from a distance. Looking closer, though, no edge turns out to be perfectly identical to the one beside it. For this coloring page, you can start at the center and work outward, or pick a different color for each petal if you want the flower to look more lively than uniform.
