About Kiwi Fruit Coloring Page to Print Free

The kiwi did not come from New Zealand, despite its name: it grew first in China, where it was known as the Chinese gooseberry, and only got renamed last century after the brown feathered kiwi bird. It also carries more vitamin C than an orange does. This page shows a whole kiwi with its fuzzy skin beside a second one sliced in half, revealing the white star at its heart and the ring of tiny black seeds. Give the skin a warm textured brown, and the inside a bright green that fades lighter toward the middle. Black works best for the seeds, and a medium green for the big vine leaves behind the fruit.
