About Halloween Monster Coloring Page to Print Free

This patchwork monster, with its flat-topped head and the bolts in its neck, came out of a novel Mary Shelley wrote when she was barely eighteen, more than two centuries ago. Almost everyone calls him Frankenstein, but that was the surname of the scientist who built him: the creature was never given a name at all. Here he sits on a stump in the middle of the woods, a small pumpkin resting on his lap. Try a muted greyish green for the skin, brown for the torn jacket and boots, silver for the bolts, orange for the pumpkin, and fallen leaves in red, ochre and brown all around him.
