In the easy level every piece starts with the rotation it needs, and the silhouette is split into seven colored slots, one per piece. The child only has to look at the color, pick the matching piece and drop it on top: nothing needs turning. It is the way into tangram without frustration, between ages 4 and 6, and a chance to learn the names of the geometric shapes while playing, because each piece says its name out loud when you pick it up.
